The PACS Employment Resource Centre is a Surrey employment centre located in Cloverdale. We are funded in whole or part through the Canada-British Columbia Labour Market Development Agreement. All our services are free of charge.

Anybody legally entitled to work in Canada can access our Centre.

We provide self-help job search resources, individual employment counseling, referrals by case managers to various employment programs as well as help with obtaining funding for training.

Accessing the PACS Employment Resource Centre opens the door to services like:

FAQ

Who can use your centre?
Anybody entitled to work in Canada. Our central Cloverdale location enables us to serve residents from Surrey, White Rock, North Delta and Langley.

How do I access the Centre?
You can drop in anytime to use the Resource Room. If you would like individual consultation and referral to programs, please phone to make an appointment to attend an information session.

Do you find people jobs?
We are not a placement agency so we do not recruit employees for business. However, local employers often post employment opportunities in our local job binders. Our purpose is to assess your specific employment needs and to provide guidance and resources to help you find work.

Can you help with my EI claim?
Local Service Canada offices can process your EI claims and give you accurate information regarding their policies. We are operated by Peace Arch Community Services and do not deal with Employment Insurance.

Will you prepare a résumé for me?
We provide resources to create your own résumé (templates, examples, cover letter books, etc..) We can refer you to free résumé preparation services or you can meet with a Case Manager to discuss your needs
