Information Sessions

To see an Employment Counsellor/Case Manager, we ask you to please attend one Information Session first. These sessions are usually held 4 times a week, two mornings and two afternoons. Please call 604-576-3118 to find out about session schedules.

Information Sessions give a brief overview of the PACS Employment Resource Centre's services and additional community services available for job seekers. This group PowerPoint presentation takes a maximum of one hour. Participants are asked to fill out an Intake Form prior to the session. Please bring a resume if you have one.

Employment Counsellors/Case Managers are available for a brief individual appointment immediately after the Information Sessions. This first appointment could lead to a quick referral or to scheduling another more in-depth appointment. Everybody is treated individually and Employment Counsellors/Case Managers will work with you to develop a plan that fits your unique needs. This "return to work action plan" is a mutually agreed upon plan that you develop with your Employment Counsellor/Case Manager to assist you to meet your re-employment goals.

*If you are unable to attend the Information Session during scheduled times, please inform staff when you phone and every effort will be made to accommodate your needs.
