Provides support services to families in White Rock and South Surrey who are in crisis or whose children are at risk. Services include Preservation and Reunification, Family Development Response, Visitation and Access, and Family therapy.  All referrals are from the Ministry of Children and Family Development.

Youth Services Manager

Referral Form for self referral.

Provides services to children and thier families who have been identified by MCFD as having serious behaviour, social and emotional adjustment challenges. Services are defined as treatment activities which may take the form of direct child management, group counselling, family/caregiver counselling, crisis intervention and/or specialized consultation to caregivers and other professional agents.

Referrals are through Child and Youth Mental Health.  Fee for service options may be available for those who wish to self refer.

A emergency five bed residence for youth between the ages of 13 and 19 years old. All referrals are from the Ministry of Children and Family Development. Winter House works in conjuction withthe ministry to facilitate the youth's care plan, providing support, counselling and assessments.

A residentially based family counselling oriented service for adolescents 13-16 years old experiencing intense and protracted conflict with their parents. Youth go home on weekends. The program help families develop more favorable solutions to the problems represented by such conflicts. A post-residential Aftercare program offers family counselling and in-home parent training. All referrals are from the Ministry of Children and Family Development.

Youth Services Manager

The Youth Justice Program provides intensive supervision and individualized one-to-one support to youth involved, or at risk of becoming involved, in the Youth Justice System. All referrals are from the Ministry of Children and Family Development.

The FASD Key Worker provides support to families who have a child with a diagnosis or suspected diagnosis of FASD or other Complex Developmental Behavioral Conditions.  Referrals are by MCFD, Fraser Health, other professionals, or by individuals.  Funding is through MCFD. Services provided in South Surrey and White Rock only.  Please use the adjacent contact information for further information. 

Mental Health Child, Family, and Youth Services. Services are provided to children, youth and their families where the child or youth has or may have a mental health diagnosis and are experiencing challenges.  Services provided are outreach based and focused on increasing abilities.  These services are provided in Surrey and White Rock.  Some family therapy is also provided to support families with a child who may have a Mental Health diagnosis.  This service is provided in South Surrey and White Rock.  Referrals are through Child and Youth Mental Health only.
